I live in the middle of a national park so can definitely tick the driving "in the dark" box. We don't have much in the way of street lights or houses for ambient light!

I've not experienced any of the "dark" area's described. Yes the light pattern is different than standard but its very effective and especially at full beam.

Ironically I'm considering an upgrade to the Noldens purely on aesthetic grounds. I don't like the almost black centres and the strange horizontal division. But hey as I've said many times, I have OCD Mr. Green

I have the "dark" area too...and I had my lights adjusted with the correct equipment.

I really dont like it and will be going back to standard with Nightbreakers ready for winter Sad Sad Sad

I still have the dark area, but am getting used to it..!

One thing I need to check though, is that I have the genuine LR light guards on the front and they have wide'ish (10mm) horizontal bars. One of these bars is roughly level with the centre of the headlights, so I'm wondering if the dark area is caused by the bar..?

When I get 5 mins I'll take the light guards off and see if it makes a difference.

Do you have any light guards on yours..?

I'm looking for new headlights, sounds like these are the ones to go for. I'll need new rings as well as mine are corroded.
