just drove towards Solihull and saw a 110 Adventure on trade plates looked pretty good, had the under side protectors which looked good as well DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I was in the factory tour last week and there were at least 3 110 Adventures at various parts of the lin on the day we were there, 2 Corris 1 Yulong White. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

That figures as I was told that Land Rover in Slough are expectiing a phoenix 110 demo in July!
I'm guessing there are a few dealer that will have them as demo's |

Can someone get a photos of an Adventure 90 please?
Are the snorkel and roof rack factory fit or dealer fit, if possible I would like my Land Rover without these parts fitted? |

I guess that won't help a lot, but for Adventure orders for Switzerland they would come without roof rack and snorkel!

APK- I'm also in the same position- no dates, not even confirming that I'll get the colour and car I want, even though I was the first to order in the dealership !!

May I know when they gave you the build date please? Was it in the last few days? All, My dealer has asked me to come in and finalise the paperwork. So hopefully, I will have clarity around the dates. I was asked about the following and would appreciate your thoughts please. 1) Does anyone plan to purchase the Snooper system (rear camera/driver recorder/tyre pressure monitor) for their Adventure 110? I was looking for a Satnav and was suggested an all-in-one Snooper system (www.snooper.co.uk/). I called them up but I must say they didn't seem customer oriented. They couldn't even tell me which retailer I could go to look at the physical device. Has anyone used this? 2) During the Defender celebration tour I met an owner and enthusiast who had his doors and bonnet stolen overnight (must be another Defender enthusiast). Does anyone have a recommendation for a security alarm and tracker for their new Adventure? I was recommended Tracker, monitor supplied and fitted for £599 inc VAT with an additional £169 per annum subscription charge. Thoughts? 3) Do you plan on applying Waxoyl or Dinitrol protection while the Adventure is new? While the protection is debatable is there any reason not to apply it? 4) I was proposed a interior leather and exterior paint protector with a lifetime guarantee called GardX (retails at £599.00). Do you folks plan to use this? 5) I was recommended a GAP insurance that gives a maximum further £25k above the insurance company payout up to the invoice value in the event of a write off in the first three years of ownership for £699.00. Will you folks be going for this? 6) I have read of recommendations to replace the screws of the Defender due to rust and from a security perspective. Sounds extreme, but once again happy to hear your thoughts. Would be great if all the Adventure owners could get together sometime early next year in the UK or Europe. Would be a great photo opportunity! Thank you in advance for your comments  |
