Refilling Superwinch husky spur gearbox
I have just completed the rebuild of my 2nd generation Superwinch Husky 8 (EW8).

Does anyone know the correct procedure for filling the spur gearbox with the horrible semi fluid grease. I assume it is done with the winch tipped onto its front, pour in SFG and fit gasket and cover plate.

I am unsure what the fill volume is however. Do you just fill up to approx half way up the casing or is there a specific fill volume? Cheers

David Bowyer has answered my question, it is 150ml.

Interesting, thanks for posting the answer.

Although I have several Huskys I have never actually had to fill the gearbox on any of them - at least not yet - so it is useful to know.
