What route have you guys taken to feed in the + and - cables for the winch.

So far ive put them (as per the LR manual) through their vehicle points - but the main + gromet did really seal before! Mike

Hi

The - on my winch is sent from the front down the chassis on the OS to where the gearbox cross member is bolted there was a lug on my chassis where that i used for the GND - (My car also has a extra GND from the battery to the chassis lug so connection to the battery is perfect.

The + 12V feed goes on the NS chassis to the front of the bulkhead on the outside of where the passanger would have there feet.
I removed the grommet and fitted an isolator in there , the other wire from the isolator comes out of it and and carrys on down the chassis untill it meets the seat box where it enters and connects to the battery.

Hope that makes sence lol

Here is the isolator i used http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...otohosting

Yes it does thanks, although its all plumbed in now.

I chose to install it exactly as LR say and therefore no isolator is fitted. Whilst many have a view on this and i have many a friend without one - as i have a genuine bumper, with appropriate approved winch, fitted in accordance, there will be no excuse at warranty Wink

Me i want the - attached to the battery (which i couldnt see an easy way anyway) Mike
