Shocked Wow.. and by the looks of it you can get the adventure paint option. That sort of devalues the Adventure limited if its true. Why would LR do that so soon after Celebration release? Especially since the final price has not even been 100% confirmed on the Celebration series here in Oz.(only indicated) Maybe the Landmark price will come out sooner.

I don't know if you order a Defender now, and they can't have it built this year, that they can still built it next year?
As the current Defenders are all sold out, maybe they can make orders now and keep production running further into the next year a bit...
Do not forget, it is JLR that descided to stop production. They still could 've built them for an extra few years.
Maybe the sales surpassed their expectations this last year, and they want to ride the wave a little bit longer...

On the other hand, it may all be bogus.

More info on the next move for LR under the "general" thread. But here's a couple of links from a post by Supacat :

People who wanted to buy one.

I do have to add some more info: apparently, at least in Belgium, they are all gone. You cannot order one to be built to your personal spec. Dealers have purchased all that is allocated, so you will be able to find some to dealer-spec. Because of this, it's also probably nearly impossible to get some sort of discount...

Especially 130's are impossible to get new now, even from dealer's stock.

So it looks like the Landmark is the same as an Adventure less the roof rack, snorkel and LED's but has sound system, rear tints and carpets. for £4K less
