We have them fitted to both our 110's and they have seen good use. A couple of points to bear in mind.

Chequer plate tops are very slippery so things can move around easily on top of the chequer plate. So either lash items down or consider something like carpet or anti slip mat on top. Chequer plate is not the easiest of things to clean if you spill anything on it.

If you are going to be carrying very heavy items in the drawer unit consider Safari Equip drawers which uses probably the heaviest rated sliders in 4x4 drawer units. Their drawers also come with carpeted tops as well.

Both drawer systems are made in Yorkshire. Thumbs Up

The MSS stack and store system is good providing a ready pantry whilst travelling.

Thanks for the kind words Brendan. Our drawers come in a range of finishes including carpetted and flat aluminium as well as wood. We use only the very best Accuride runners available on the market to ensure that our drawers don't fail on our customers. They are able to hold immense amounts of weight even at 100% extension.

Please check out these photos of the carpet and flat aluminium finishes which are both very popular alternatives to the chequer plate.

Our drawers are rated to 160kg.

Heres a pic, of our head fabricator sat in a drawer when fitted and open to 100%. Although he's not 160kg it is a better visual representation of how strong our drawers are.

I have had a couple of the drawer sets, originally in my D3 and now a set in my 90.
They are very solid ( heavy) but the runners glide very nicely and smoothly regardless of what is in the drawers .
They shut with a nice solid clunk, and don't rattle at all.

The T chest is a great use of the space in the load area, super deep internally , and all manner of objects can be stored, stoves, poncho, recovery gear, small child Shocked , mine is also fully carpeted inside, and I fitted a gas strut to hold it open. It will take a rifle/shotgun in its slip no problem, offering extra security whilst out and about.

All in all a great investment , offering huge and secure storage potential, plus y hold their value so can always be moved on at minimal loss.
