Similar to Jimb1978's "Black Edition", Land Rover did a "Silver Edition" in 2006 as a follow on.
Out of the factory it came with Black Chequer Plate, A-Bar, Spots, Steering Guard, Half-Leather interior, Aircon and Light Guards. Been in the family from new so I know the history of it and it's approaching 90k miles now. Solid chassis and other than a recent issue with some black smoke that's suspected to be a dying MAF sensor, it's all in excellent order. Dead chuffed with it Been slowly going around it cleaning all the green "algae" off the paintwork that appears to have been accumulating for the past 9 years.... work in progress! Having been mollycoddled by my Disco till now, the 90 is a bit different on the motorway! Still... it's quieter than my old 200tdi 90 |

Very nice indeed. Do you plan any mods at all or are you keeping it standard?

Cheers chaps.
I don't want to do much to it to be honest. Will probably get the rear windows tinted for a bit of privacy and possibly a raised air intake but probably nothing else. Its already got a few extras and I'd like to try and keep it standard looking. Ive also got an older 200tdi hardtop that's more of a toy to add bits to. Its nice to be back in Defender driving every day |
