You don't finance the VAT if buying a commercial. (and you're VAT reg'd)
However there example is a private purchase and is just wrong...  |

Most LR dealers do it, but the mention of VAT is on the page somewhere,,
Not in this case that i can see, does not even say its a commercial, which can be a give away, or that its Vat Qualifying !! Plus as Mal says, figures do not tie up, due to vat, but the figurers they are quoting are for a non vat-able private sale, so is not truly correct !! Add another ballpark £300.
Did look for it but assumed VAT wasn't applicable as there was absolutely no mention of it. The APR was correct at 12.2% though. Calculator's red hot and head hurts!....... Good game while it lasted. Well done Tiger.

Are you saying the only price is then plus vat or includes vat If they are misleading the price the garage may have committed a criminal offence if they give false or misleading information about a price for goods if they don’t display a price that is accurate where that is key for making a decision to buy. Traders must clearly show the selling price inclusive of VAT. If prices don’t have vat added they must be shown on notices nearby the selling price informing of that fact For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

It's just totally wrong as the VAT is normally in the deposit on a commercial.
Spose it won't help you get it any cheaper though mate  |
