Leak on clutch pedal

Hi - I am a newby with landrovers and just bought my first one, knowing zero about them! 1991 90 defender turbo diesel. Just noticed a steady trickle of fluid down clutch pedal when I got it home. Is this the master cylinder and is it expensive to fix? Thanks for any advice
