Head light upgrade wiring problem
So I've got a new xenon headlight upgrade, but apparently I have to wire them into my side lights, how do I do that? A Defender... Mans best friend, never judges, trustworthy (most of the time), go anywhere, do anything, looks the business, and mans biggest money pit!!!

It's the two connectors at the bottom of the top picture that I don't know how to connect...

These are the wires I have in at the moment, I know the two for the headlight, and the connectors for the indicator and side light, but what is the other one for?

The headlamp leveller if one was fitted which will be a small motor on the headlamp bucket. But not all defenders had them

For the side light I think it is referring to the little red wire on the headlight bowl?

The effect being that when you click sidelights only it will illuminate your headlight bowl with a tiny bulb rather than just your marker lights.

You would need to run a cable from the small red wire to the red wire of the sidelight fitting but if this is not the desired effect I wouldn't bother as your headlights will it will work fine without it. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197
