Easy to do I am not sure I agree with after all of one try, but maybe that's just me. As an alternative aren't complete bases relatively inexpensive?

I've used an Exmoor Trim kit which was perfectly doable.

Their customer service was rubbish though.

I would echo what 'cupboard' says. It's a very easy job to do, depending on how well sat in your seat is your cover will fit more or less well- mine had been well sat in by I presume a very hefty bloke so was quite stretched- so the fit of the cover over the new foam is a little bit baggy. Ideally you need a vice/some way of clamping the seat Base down or two pairs of hands makes it a lot easier! The seat back on the other hand is a far bigger PITA.
