Westover Land Rover Salisbury (was Ottons Salisbury)
I have used Ottons in Salisbury; friendly and very helpful; especially the parts department; the guy in there is happy to talk to you for hours about land rovers; I would thoroughly recommend them. Thumbs Up

I bought my defender from there, sales / service very helpfull and in the past bought bought parts for my old classic.
highly recomend them.

scrap that, they were quite good to us when we took our Defenber in for repairs today. I'll just have to see how it comes back from them?

Westover Land Rover
they have changed their name to Westover land rover ... took my Swiss defender in for some warranty work .. they replaced the heated rear window, sorted out the vibrations from under the car and even though I did not ask, they even fixed those hingy things in the door that keeps the doors open.

they are also working with me and land rover to get the speedo cluster replaced for a MPH one for the UK import process.

Very happy to recommend them.

little annoyed with their ability to use the telephone when i needed to get my speedo sorted, kept delaying the booking. i ended up getting it done without their help.

but no other recommended LR dealers in Wiltshire..

anyone know a good dealer in / around surrey ?

I bought my Disco2 from them (back in the Ottons days) and have used them ever since. I have always been very happy with the service they provide. (In fact I started using Ottons when they were in Verwood and were not a main dealer - wow, that was a long time ago now)!

They have at least one top tech in the service department who has always gone that little bit further than expected to help and is a great asset to them, and the parts department is also very helpful.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

(I think that there is/was an Ottons feedback thread running already.)

TH Whites, in Wootton Basset (Wiltshire, about 4 minutes from J16 M4) are very good.

and about 2 minutes from my house too Mr. Green

I don;t live in Bassett itself, i'm a couple of villages away.

There's talk of it becoming "Royal"... total waste of time IMO!

Bought mine from them....very 'flexible' too when it comes to servicing prices and you mention the Independants pricing!!! Thumbs Up

Ottons were always part of the 'Westover Group' so it's just a name changing exercise!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

had shiney in for vac.pump fix, very helpful, polite and did the job in 40mins.. faith restored.
