South Africa 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Chawton White
Puma 2.4 turbo actuator mechanism
I have some power loss at high speeds and 6th gear, running out of revs, even on slight uphills. There are lots of forum references to check if the turbo actuator mechanism is not stuck. I have checked the arm and tried to move the mechanism and could not get it to move and did not want to apply too much force. So, my question is, how easily should you be able to move the arm and in checking do I push down or pull up? Also, if the mechanism is not operating properly would I not be getting faults logged? (do not have any)

Ontdekker I see you are pretty close.

Take your landy to Walter at LRXtreme, they're in PTA east.
I too had an issue where the Puma would run in a reduced power mode, it seems as if my problem was a stuck EGR valve.

PM me if you want any further details.

Mine was the first puma EGR blocked by Walter.
I then also had that strange reduced power mode for a long time.
They then unplugged it and it seems like everything is back to normal now.

Give it a try. Hopefully it will sort your issue as well.
