Telephone Number
Can you legally trace the name attached to a phone number. My parents had a call lastnight from a number that they didn't recognise. Bloke on the phone knew their name but after asking for someone by the surname, they said I've got the wrong number and hung up. Parents dialed 1471 and wrote the number down. They then assumed it was someone after me.
But I don't know anyone in that part of the country. Don't fancy ringing the number, as if I don't know them, they will then have my number.
Any ideas? 110 D250 SE HT

Caller asked for someone, either me or my Dad by our surname. But because it was my mother that answered they said it was a wrong number and hung up.
I thought it could be someone from my Army days but I wouldn't of given my parents number to anyone since I was single, so coming on for 20 yrs. 110 D250 SE HT

Just google the phone number.

Surprising what you can find out by our friend google.

If it belongs to a company you should find out. If it is a cold call/menance call you will find that out as well.
