Just moved to NFU too although I wasn't with any of the companies previously mentioned. Managed to get my insurance with breakdown cover and my 22 year old son on the policy for not much more than my original company's renewal price.
Without my son it was £140 cheaper and the service was brilliant. I know the proof of the pudding is when needing to claim but I'd not done that with my previous company either so no idea who'd be better if that happens.

Insurance is weird as it's never linear between drivers, even if they live in the same area.

I would of liked to go with NFU as they have a local office, but their premium was twice that of Adrian Flux and the Adrian Flux cover and benefits were better.

My premium with them (which includes green lanes AND off-road) is very cheap and every time I phone them to inform them of more modifications, they add it to the policy and there has never been any additional charges. They also do appear on the certificate.

What you also have to remember is that Adrian Flux are brokers, therefore, some people will have different policies from different companies which will result in different prices for additions/changes. Craig Rogers
