W terminal on Td5 altenator
Is there a W-terminal or can I make a W terminal on a TD5 Altenator?
I still have an old Rev counter lying around and like to use that instead of bying an expensive new LR one. Or are there cheaper alternatives? Roel

I wonder if taking the tapping off of the ECU would work a "normal" (i.e. alternator-fed) counter work correctly?

I saw a genuine LR counter not reach any bids of £20 last week on ebay, so you can get them cheaply.

I understood that the ECU signal is not strong enough for a alternator type rev counter.

I mist that rev counter Big Cry There is one now for 160 euro I find that expensive. Roel
