Wifey & I love our wine, but wifey is alcohol free at the moment, because she thinks she's been drinking too much,...actually, we both have!!,...the benefits of retirement! But it's all good, I ain't drinking on my own, so I've cut down too,...but not totally like her.
We have sensational wines of all descriptions in Aus. Cab Sav, Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Moselle, Savignon Blanc etc, although New Zealand have the best Sav Blanc,..."Cloudy Bay"...If you see it, buy it,...it's like liquid gold!
So, we like our wine, but we know zero about it. If we like it, we drink it, if we don't we don't buy it again. And, ya gets what ya pays for, so we stay away from the really cheap stuff.
For me. there's NOTHING better than a medium rare eye fillet washed down with a good red.
