Fuel cap photo request
I've got a new style fuel cap to fit to my 90, could anyone that has one fitted from the factory kinky take a photo for me?
It's the fuel cap with the retaining strap, I need a photo for reference to drill the small hole for it in the correct location.

Thank-you.

I assume that's as factory fitted and not retro fitted.
I tried a Google image search but it didn't show up fitted too well only sales.

Excellent, thank-you as always chaps. Thumbs Up
I was thinking of drilling the hole today and putting a litte paint around it but the days been so short I haven't had the chance.
Mines just as dirty. Laughing

Hole drilled and painted, should have the cap fitted tomorrow.
I had a cone cutter / step cutter drill bit which is nice and sharp and left a clean hole.

Very Happy

6mm if I recall correctly, just a very minor amount of body colour paint around the drilled hole.
That's it, might spray a little Dinitrol from underneath once it's fitted to be sure.

Good job Steve... Thumbs Up

Have you thought, now you've drilled the hole anyway, of attaching a second capture cord and fixing it to your Defendoor?... Whistle

all you got to do now is remember to fit the cap and not leave it hanging down on the side of the body as it will beat and scratch the side to death then you drive off Big Cry

maybe better to leave the cap on the pump in the garage if you do forget Whistle Whistle
