Does anyone have the GTR reference on them.

Despite having one done in the past (then the old dealer breaking the fixed one) they are denying there is even a fault with it...using the "charactoristic of the vehicle" crbollapocks! Mike

Likewise, having the same problem too. Dealer has agreed to replace transfer box but i doubt that is going to rectify the problem. Anyone please shed some light on this issue?

Im glad its not just me...although its more annoying when you have had one replaced by a different dealer stating "it shouldnt do that...its the selector guide, we will order one" and bang - fixed never to do it again! (until a new selector was fitted) only for the new dealer to state there isnt a problem with it... Evil or Very Mad Mike

I've had my selector plate replaced due to a rattle. The new one is better but not rattle free.
It's worse when under a bit of strain (going up hill in 6th, etc).
I have come to believe that it is actually normal for it to rattle a bit. The owners manual warns you not to hold the gear lever while driving - if the selector plate resulted in a tight fitting lever, that would amount to the same as holding the gear lever with your hand.
I've also convinced myself that i'll get better mileage out of the box if i allow a small amount of rattle.
AND, if it does get too bad (after the warranty expires) it won't be tooooo expensive to replace.
Just my few cents worth...

I got a sort of high pitch-metallic clinking noise coming from the bellhouse-gearbox area. I think it is somehow related to the selector and I get also the noise when I shift between gears and engine is off. Could it be the gear selector? Puma 110" SW
