Contract Hire and Leasing (Business)
It's been a few years since I've used a specialist leasing company but my missus is looking to contract hire a vehicle (non Land Rover I'm afraid) for her business.

I'm familiar with the usual suspects in this market which are generally large faceless organisations affiliated to banks and finance houses but I wondered if there are any specialist companies in this arena that members would be happy to recommend?

I run a Contract Hire and Leasing Business Centre for a main dealer with 5 brands. I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Same here, happy to take a look for you. Free advise and of course no obligation if you just want to talk through the options available to your wife.
The good news for your wife is our industry is now regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority which is a regulator with teeth that isn't afraid to bite so a lot of the brokers that would tell you anything to get a sale have gone .

Ain't that the truth.

Just like the Ford Dealers using a Personal Contract Hire product designed for people opting out of Company Cars when they shouldn't be.

A loop hole that I'm told will be closed by Ford, but taking time and it's only when they physically catch the dealer doing it.

Edited to say, we are a main dealer with 5 brands (one of which is Ford) and have lost deals because we will only offer the correct product to retail customers.

Yes and main dealers telling customers that they can own a vehicle on finance lease " no problem " in writing as well ! It will take time and some hefty fines before they all play nicely and don't just say what they think the customer wants to hear.

I do try and stay away from Finance Lease and stick to Contract Hire. It's amazing how many people don't understand that at the end of term the car is collected from them.
