2.4 Puma keeps breaking gbox mounts
RH gearbox mount keeps shearing (well two have), has anyone come across this before?

i have 48k miles.

Noticed some knocking and found the original RH gbox mount had sheared through the rubber on the lowest face. i replaced the part with a BM part, 3 days later i am back in the same position.

any ideas as to cause.

i had attributed the first failure to some rock lan driving in Corsica, but the second one i am flummoxed by, it has not left the tarmac so i cant see it been off road attributed.

yes i am gentle with the clutch, no juddering has been experienced with any drive take/transmission.

i would appreciate any thoughts/directions to look in. Cheers

TBF 2 isn't a lot. The first could be attributed to offroad driving but the second could just be a faulty mount. When bolted up tight was it twisted/rotated under load? Then it would shear very quickly 110 D250 SE HT

Had one go at about 50,000 miles didn't notice until greasing the props.
New genuine one was about £15 if I remember.
