We had a solid fuel boiler for hot water and central heating , got it ripped out and went over to calor gas , the big tank not bottles , best thing we done , coal was to much work , ash to clean out and dust , kept going out over night

we also got a log burner in lounge as well

United Kingdom 2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
Had a solid fuel AGA but converted it to Calor gas years ago. So much cleaner and I don't have to worry about it going out, and I can go away for a few days and return and it'd still going.

Expensive to run but I'd never be without an AGA.
