Had a little cry today !
I took my daughter for a driving lesson at work in the 90 today, she is only 14 but nearly 6ft tall (were we that tall when we were 14 ?). The 90 is our only manual car and she is picking it up really well. Said 14 year old is the fashion police herself and has never shown Land Rover interest before so to my absolute amazement without any warning she declares on the way home "my defender will be black with a snorkel " Shocked . It brought a lump in my throat, never thought I would hear that in a million years. The conversation continued for another few miles about what she thinks makes a cool defender (nothing like mine).
I can tell I am going to have to nurture this interest and keep her from the dark side (mini's , corsa's etc).

You could do what I did.
I bought a good running project 300tdi 90 and put my children on the insurance to learn to drive

Bonus - I had a fettling fine time and they learnt to drive. My son then bought it from me when he had the cash
