2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Stornoway Grey

Clutch Change

Hi All,

I'm currently doing a load of work to the 110 this week and she's currently sat without any inlet manifold or exhaust manifold and turbo. It's all come off today as I wanted fresh gaskets etc (and other small jobs made easier by these being gone).

I have a clutch and DMF to go in to ...

I was going to do the normal tansfer box and gearbox off route, but I'm wondering ... As I'm also going to change the coolant anyway ... would it just be easier to pull the block?

I have plenty of big trolley jacks and a transmission jack, but also an engine crane to ... Though my ground is very gravely and not easy to move the crane on. Last time I used it I had a bike engine on it and that was a pain as it was!

What do people reckon?

Clutch wont be happening this week. Things just not gone to plan. It's also Tuesday if you check the Calendar

... Looks like I'll be in a borrowed car though for the week!
