Would adjustable air suspension be an option? That way you could have the best of a Defenders off road height, but lowerable for parking in your garage. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Speak to Garry at (TD5)Alive tunning as he does a kit for 90s, maybe he does something for 110s too.

guess what turned up today ... my new 110 rear springs, getting them fitted next friday thanks to Roz at Extreme 4x4, they took a little more than 10 days but they are here now !

Problem is .. they are bright orange ... should i fit them as they are or paint them black ?

I think they should be black ... so what should I paint them with ? Hammerite ? ideas ?

It's a strange thing, my 2003 td5 has boost alloys and it fits in the garage fine, but the puma has the same size alloys and tyres but does not unless i put some weight in the rear, so initially I did not think I would have a problem. it may be the td5 has a tow bar and has dropped over the years ?

I would suggest that the Td5's springs have had a bit more 'work', while the Puma's springs are still fairly new and hence still quite stiff?

Facing same problem as BP man, looking to move house. For me the garage is my main consideration and space for a caravan on the drive, found a house we like, Im guessing build in the 50s but the garage structure entrance is only 4 inches wider than the defender 90 spec and exactly the same height. Have e/mailed Extreme for a quote, think I need a second visit to see if the car will fit before we put in our offer. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy
