Rear door hinges defender 90
The rear door hinges on my defender 90 appear to be worn as I am getting banging from the hinge side of the door when I drive on rough roads,
I have adjusted the lock plate to give a nice firm lock up and the spare wheel is on a Mantec carrier now,
So question is do I replace these 3 hinges with OE Land rover or is there a better aftermarket alternative?

Thanks in anticipation

Stu

I got a set of these to do mine

However I wouldn't go with britpart again, they've rusted something rotten.

Would look for another manufacturer Defender 90 XS TD5 (03 Reg)

As above but I used these. No rusting and sorted my rear door.

Unfortunately mine is a 2007 model 90 so I don't think these will work any other suggestions

According to Brookwells site they fit all non NAS Defenders up to 2012.

Why not PM LRS - they are a site sponsor ?

Interesting, has anyone rebuilt there hinges on a defender puma yet as they look like a sealed unit.

Just checked my 2013 90 and you are correct - the hinges do appear to be sealed Thumbs Up

Looks like you will have to replace the complete units.
