I got a eu20i , yes I think there best but pricey ,luckily I brought it off a mate who didn't use it so got it the right price
mate then got a Hyundai one that seemed ok , just as quiet

bloke on a burger van on the ind est got a kippor one and his is running all day and don't think he has had any trouble with it

all depends how much your going to use it really

if it's a generator like this one that Aldi are selling, stay well clear:

I've used a different branded one and it's pretty terrible.

That's the one on offer in Aldi only a different colour ! Good price as these usually retail about the £100-£110 mark in various guises.

Pretty basic as generators go and they seem to only regulate the voltage by the speed of the motor there is no voltage regulation to Speak of so connection to sensitive equipment would be risky.

It does have a 12v outlet which would be usefull for charging caravan/boat batteries, fuel usage is low, I ran one for 5-6 Hrs once during a scheduled power outage at work and did not use all of the 4 Ltr capacity.

This is probably the cheapest generator you can buy in the U.K. 2005 Td5 90 XS

If you do a search,, seam to remember Honda sized a load of kippor units and crushed them as copyright

I waited my time, and a eu20 came up, as new, used as a standby in a motorhome, for about 20 hours 5 years ago £400 Thumbs Up been perfect California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
