No probs,Jim Thumbs Up .

I want braided hoses on mine, but I'm still traumatised from fittin mi ABS pump so dont wanna look at brakes for a good while yet.
Anyways braided hoses aren't easily available for TD5 (ABS?) after 04 (think it was 04,they changed the fitting to some new alien design or summut, dunno Confused ).Would be worth fitting at a service/repair as they have a lifetime guarantee and are probably half the price of genuine pipes.Problem with 5.1 is it has to be changed more often than dot 4 as it's more hydroscopic, really NOT a good idea to use it with ABS then. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

No ABS and looking to replace it all in one hit makes it all a simple bolt on job. The current ones are original, and a few years old

I did it to my 90, less brake fade with spirited driving, i.e braking feel lasts longer. ideal when towing too
Mine now runs a full 110 spec setup with stainless braided hoses and DOT 5.1 fluid, now stops as well as it goes without breaking the bank Thumbs Up

What is the difference between the 110 and 90 rears is it just a bigger disc?

Different offset same diameter but much bigger calliper, 46mm piston as apposed to 41mm. The brake pads are quite a bit larger Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I am just renewing the pads, and have opted to try the EBC Greenstuff as a number of members sing there praises.

Just to add some balance if you've not bought them yet... I was persuaded to try EBC Greens on one of our other cars and they are, without a shadow of doubt, the worst pads I have ever used.

I found them to be very spongy feeling things (I prefer a "bitey" pad) that don't inspire confidence. Have given them 2,000 miles to make sure it's not an extended bedding thing but will be swapping them out for Ferodos very soon.

Agree with above. Green stuff pads are the worst I've ever fitted. Tried them for a thousand miles, then binned them. Nasty

Already brought the pads. These things are so subjective!! Land rover allegedly spend millions developing things, and then we assume we can improve on it! Ebc pads worked out £4 dearer than the Paigid I was going to use, so thought I'd give them a go. We'll soon find out Whistle

Struggling with the braided hoses as mine is 2005 when things changed ,.......... But I had a thought Shocked The new calipers will be standard, so there is no guarantee that my old pipes will fit them either ? I suppose I need to check with the supplier ? Dose anyone know what the differences are???

The flexi/braided hose is fastened to a short rigid copper pipe which in turn is connected to the caliper,so wont be any problem. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Aren't they supposed to be metric thread or something after 05? Is it just the caliper end ? and the other standard imperial ?

Dunno,I heard summut bout both ends being male or female, can't remember. But like I say the rubber/braided hose is connected to a short STEEL (not copper, doh!) pipe which uses a standard fitting to fit into the caliper. Cant find an image but a quick looksy underneath will explain all. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
