Shouldn't do, from memory they are same diameter only thing different is flanges.

I don't know but would assume not as it's intended for a more powerful engine ie greater gas flow?

Well as yours would have been a TD originally I would assume that you still have a TD exhust with a converter pipe down from the engine to the old system.

If yours is a defender 200tdi engine then I would just replace the exhaust system with a 200tdi system and move any brackets that need moving.

Whats wrong with your existing system is it rotten?

No the exhaust is nearly new but we have just bought a straight through middle pipe but the flanges are different aswell as the bore of the exhaust is a lot smaller than the new straight through pipe we have just bought so thinking of buying a new complete 200tdi exhaust but using the rear silencer just for the flange so we can fit some flexi pipe to but could quite end up buying a used rear silencer to do this depending on price and availability Smile Graham

Are there no specialist exhaust places or engineering contacts you may have that could just 'rework' the existing flanges for you? Be quicker and less hassle I would imagine? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

Can be made to work but not ideal due to size difference

Son fitted the new front pipe and straight through pipe yesterday but need to sort out the tail pipe still but we have found an exhaust place that will make us a solid but bent to shape tail pipe fit it inc any brackets needed and all we need to do is cut the hole in the rear wing so hopefully it will get done next week.

had it out just to see how it is with the new exhaust on and its quick but a little noisy due to not having a tail pipe fitted and the turbo lag has virtually gone Smile Graham
