Door cards rubbing on door frame
Does anyone else have the problem with door cards rubbing on the door frame and potentially causing rust?
The door cards on my 110 have rubbed on the door frame and worn away the paint, so I am thinking of putting some rubber edging strip all the way around to try and reduce this.

Any other thoughts? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Can you not loosen the hinges and adjust the doors and strikers accordingly? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

I'm not sure adjust doors would help. I dont mean the outside of the door, B & C pillars, I mean the actual door frame. I will post a picture and hopefully that will explain better. 1999 Defender TD5 110

It's quite common, I've mainly seen it on second row doors at the top of the card. I just repaint occasionally

Its a PITA. I was thinking of adding some rubber strip around the outside to try and reduce this. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Had a bit of this on the rear door too.
Check out the lower lip especially the latch side.
