Car now confirmed with Wildcat will be going in on the 10th April Very Happy

Here are some photos I took today of the car:

Picture from rear =Full panoramic glass all round the rear tub with privacy glass to the second row also. Perfectly fitted and very high quality parts from Dave Wright at VGS

Rear wheels with 18" BFG AT tyres and Urban 18" FS1 wheels. Tarox Brakes and calliper for stopping Smile

Urban Fire and Ice black side steps:

Front view showing adventure grille, laser ST4 lights - Steering guard underneath from FirstFour I think, but painted Matt Black when i first got it.

Close up of drivers side rear panoramic glass and 2nd row privacy glass.

Interior showing Startech wheel, cruise control and aluminium pedals. Double Din fitted and works well with Apple CarPlay plus Evoque rechargeable torch on other side dash. Full leather dash and interior through out up to second row seats. Rear is all as standard less the rear child seats as they took up too much space!

Comfy Recaros:

Added black alcantara headlining and fitted additional interior light for the secind row seats, always seemed odd that LR never did fit one there...

Will add more as the V8 goes in....

Just edited to add the pictures from the front - for some reason they didn't come out!

Really pleased with how its coming on, just the engine now and then the driveline upgrades to go and will be perfect until I decide to change again...

Someone's been a busy bee, lots of effort went in and no money spared, you must be chuffed to bits. I miss the sawtooths, but the new wheels give it an aggressive look which will go well with your beast of an engine. MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

Thanks JK have been following your builds with interest too!

Amazing how we can all start with the same basic cars and finish with such different vehicles yet still they all look amazing!

How are you ifndimg the Wipac front led indicator and sidelight. Not sure I like the sparkly wipac ones but the mobile centre ones seem difficult to install!

Indeed James, beauty of them is they can be so individual which adds character, yet we all appreciate the essence of them.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Wipacs, they are sparkly on daylight. 110 is a workhorse though, 38k in just above 1.5 years and I had to change bulbs 7 times - hoping the LEDs will be more reliable! Wifey's 90 will stay with OEMs plus Noldens, identical to your current setup, looks ace I think.

Mobilecentre ones have best looking optics in my opinion, and I find them a better quality too. If they had Wipacs/OEM shape, they would be a winner for me. Installation wise - a member on here, grafty99 (killer 90!) has them, so give him a nudge how difficult/easy they are to install.

Third option is LED bulbs - although some members on here will explain that it's not strictly road legal. I'm off for long road trip so will keep the Wipacs for now, but have ordered LED bulbs from Paddocks and guys below and will see how it looks when I have a bit of time in few weeks. Again another member on here likeomg (and another killer 90!) has this set up and it looks good.

The best is yet to come James,......... LS3,...6.2 litres of Yankee Muscle.
"There's no substitute for cubic inches", or as they say today, " There's no replacement for displacement"!
Great work James, Pickles.

The factory fronts look best IMO, I have just removed the candle bulbs from the side lights and the DRL come on. At MOT I will pop them back in.

@JK - LOL yes I'm running LED bulbs just now. They were on my old 2010 90 and passed its first MOT with them in, no questions asked. Not strictly legal as they aren't e-marked for LED. Have LED bulbs for sidelights and indicators - they have lasted very well., probably about 5 years old now. Hence why I was looking to change. I like the look of the mobile centre ones as they seem to fit the UT Best of British light surrounds and fill the holes out better. Agree on the Wipac ones they are a bit bling Smile

@ Andy - your front end looks very clean and nice lines. Am going for the standard auto box controller and paddles attached to Startech wheel hub - is this your one that Wildcat are using? Not sure if controller is PCS?

@ Pickles - yes I cant wait!

Nice one James, then you have the best set up in place already Wink I agree that the Mobilecentre ones would actually sit very nicely in the BoB surrounds, haven't thought of that. MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html
