Utility Wagon Loadspace Liners
Hi Guys,

Soon my CSW will be reborn as a beautifully practical USW but in doing so it leaves me with a conundrum.

What do people use to line there load space?

I am looking at soundproofing it to try and reduce some of the drumming but don't was to leave dynamatt (or its alternatives) open to the top surface because first time I put some logs or kit in the back it will rip and tear it and it will be useless.

I'm trying to shy away from carpet because it will get soaked in 2 stroke or oil or tree sap.

I have thought of ply lining it, but then you have the issue of flat body panel, sound deadening, flat ply panel which will surely act as a large reverb chamber.

Can anyone recommend like a rubber liner?

What do utility owners have currently?

That looks quite good I like that.

Thinking that up to the top of the tub then ply lined with some kind of hard wearing fabric for sides up to the roof.

Stable mat. Cheap, hard wearing and being relatively heavy will stop drumming and a fair bit of noise. Steve.

I fitted a Land Rover 90 Genuine rear one piece mat. Fits to shape, one piece and easy to sweep out. Just had to trim the rubber to fit fuel filler housing as its in a different position in 110.

Noisekiller next to the metal on the base, dynamat on the sides and inside the back door panel, TGE panels, and a Nakatenanga loadspace mat (oh and a gas strut to hold the door open Smile)

(Gas strut was fitted after picture taken)

Lovely & quiet in the back now Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Any, what did I you use to stick the rubber matting up the sides of the rear tub? Also, where did you get the metal retaining strip?

Just bought the same thing and want to do similar.

Thanks

Ian
