Copper finish protection
I've just cleaned up the copper lantern of a Victorian street lamp I have in the garden, anyone any ideas how can I protect the finish from the elements to prolong the shine?

Thanks,

You could use an oil but I don't know any that would last outdoors, probably better use a sprayed clear lacquer.

Could try a wax with Carnauba in it.

Or a sealant may help.

Either way,it's only a short term protection, how long would be anybodies guess. At least with either of the above (sample pots)you should be able to wax yer car afterwards Thumbs Up . Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
