I've swapped it for a 110 XS
Wanted a Defender for years. Ordered a brand new one and just before it arrived I took a new job doing loads of miles and parking in a tiny multi storey. So cancelled my order and got a used Evoque instead. 6 weeks have passed and brilliant though it is, I've pined for a Defender.
So today I've agreed a straight swap for a new Defender 110 XS Station Wagon in Aintree Green!! Pick it up on Saturday. Can't stop smiling I'm so excited. Watch this space for pics.
Just ordering my steering Disclock now.
Any suggestions for wheel spacer suppliers to help with turning circle in my car park?
Will get the chassis under sealed next. Anyone with a nice cheap set of Duel Finish Alloys they want to sell?

You can turn it in. There's just a bolt on the stub axle. I'll be doing mine at the weekend.

Are these the steering stop bolts I've heard about? Does it really make a difference?

Why am I mad? Would you swap your Defender for an Evoque then?

Well I bet you'd soon miss the Defender and wish you hadn't. The Evoque is great but no character or soul

Had an Evoque for a week whilst the dealer was having there way with my 110 Laughing anyway although it had more controls and buttons than the entire NASA control centre, I just missed driving the Defender, driving the Evoque was too easy, and could seriously damage your licence if you have a heavy right foot, plus fellow Evoque drivers don't bother to wave, which maybe is a good thing Embarassed with the Defender you belong to a brotherhood and share a common interest.
Anyway great choice, post some pics when it arrives,

Cheers

Keith

I'd Skytag it ASAP. Disklok is good but is somewhat impractical to take everywhere.

I got mine through FCX who are doing a deal I believe still.

CSK (killer90) are more local and could fit it as well if your mechanically challenged like some of us on here Smile ===================================
