You dumb bunny, it's bleadingly obvious there is no cable plugged in to the scangauge.

There's your problem!

Seems I found the problem --- I opened the wrong door and got into my old lady instead of the puma - no wonder it didn't work Embarassed

I would e-mail the local main dealer and send on a copy of the above photograph and ask their advice. Some staff working at maindealers only see current vehicles. Wonder how long it would take for them to grasp the reason as to why it did not work. Then again they might not like you using a Scangauge.
I remember I phoned a garage once to asked whether Landrover recommended horizontal strokes or vertical strokes when hand painting a series 111 chassis. They took it in good stead and actually put the mechanic on the line to gauge his reaction! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

There was me thinking the number after the 'scangauge'.1, 2, 3.......denotes the series vehicle it goes in so the scangauge2 wouldn't work in yur Series 3 Thumbs Up
