Favourite modification or aftermarket accessory?
Im not sure if this has been done before?

Ive been thinking of all the mods ive made to my defender recently and thought that I would mention my favourite addition. Feel free to add to the post but be sure to add pics of your mod/accessory.

Mine is my DRL bumper that I bought off Matt FCX, its much thicker than the standard bumper. Also looks great in my opinion. The pic doesnt show it off too well because of low light.

I am not sure if it will be the Detroit locker in the rear axle and the tru-trac in the front axle or if it will be my 35" Simexes. Twisted Evil

Rear door gas strut is the most useful IMO, my favourite mod all round must be going to KM2's mud terrains.
They are excellent for their purpose and look good to boot as well.

Mine has to be changing to soft top (im sure that counts as a modification) Definitely cured the slight temptation of changing to a different type of car for me, means it can be my work van and fun car in one Very Happy Defender puma dormobile camper

Go to your local Go Outdoor shop & buy their cheapest wooden walking stick, costs less than £8!

This then doubles up as a rear door strut; as it's an ideal length to wedge inside the door card, whilst the rubber tip holds the door open even on tarmac & is also the perfect size for wedging between a 90 HT with TGE side defenders (and even holds the stick securely in place whilst off roading) Whistle

Don't forget to measure first as they seem to vary -/+ 2cm. It took me no more than 5mins to find the one!
