Can anyone recommend a supplier for a Galvanised swingaway wheel carrier for drop down tailgate, without the need to move lights please? SVX leds fitted.....

Cheers!

I have one from Extreme4x4, not the one for a dropdown tailgate, but for normal door. It is well constructed. I have the non galvanised type, with support bracket for hi-lift, and now after 4 years there is one spot where the powdercoating is becoming loose. Since you want the galvanised type, that won't be a problem then... Cheers, Vincent

Hi Paul
I was also after one for a drop down tailgate, Ive got NAS rear lights (same size as svx) and an extreme one wouldnt clear on mine (I have double reverse and fog lights to though, so 3 across the bottom)
I rate the extreme one with the Hi lift mount as had one on my old 110 and was fantastic. But make shure you measure it first, if you can wait until a show or something to offer it up.
The only one I can fit (im a soft top owner so more limited) is the Sonic one, so think ill not carry a spare on my next one. Defender puma dormobile camper

The extreme 4x4 ones come from Safari Equip but just cost more Laughing

Best to order direct from Safari. I bought one Galv only from them last year. Came in about 10 days

Ask Brendan
He got mine galv and complete with a jack carrier still looks like new 2yrs later
He also got them to make a special one as the first one and there normal one left the wheel 50 mm off centre so they made one slightly longer to centre it Censored OCD Rolling with laughter It's good to be back from the dark side

Paul, if you want a galvanised spare wheel wheel carrier for a drop down tailgate then you are limited to the Safari Equip one as far as I know. Unfortunately that may well mean moving your lights on both sides as both sides have to be the same height .

Lee, guess what I found whilst sorting out boxes in the move? Whistle Whistle
