No drill lightguards?
Back in the 1980's there was a company who made bar type no drill light guards for the front of Defenders, they used the 4 existing screws for the plastic headlamp bezel. Does anybody remember who it was and if they still make them? Bearmach springs to mind but they look like you have to drill now.

(I know that on later defenders the bezel is held on with only 2 screws - originally it was 4 as per the Series 2&3 headlamp bezels)

I really like the Cor4 guards but don't want to drill...

I have searched every LR forum and google and nothing shows up. Does anybody know if no drill guards are still available ? Many thanks

The plastic headlamp surrounds are held on by the side light and indicator screws plus two screws going through the headlamp surround. These two screws go into square plastic plugs.

On the other side of the headlamp there are another two corresponding square holes in the bodywork. The Entreq range of light guards use the existing two screw holes in the lamp surround and two small holes have to be drilled in the plastic lamp surround and two fresh plastic square plugs inserted into the existing holes.

Hope that makes sense.

As stated the holes are there for Series style headlamp surrounds, did you search for Series guards?

These are them but the sale has ended

Perhaps Dunsfold could help?
