The original battery (dated March 2002) has finally given up the ghost. I have always thought I'd replace it with an original equipment one as the current one has lasted 12 years.
I have heard good things about the Bosch S5 range and am open to dual battery setups, although I'm not sure how much I'd utilise the functionality of a dual battery setup. Some suggestions would be most useful 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Mine's a numax from Tanya, would get one again, failing that I'd get the Bosch.

The one I had for my Series 2 was a CXV35MF http://www.tayna.co.uk/Numax-CXV35MF-P8275.html . It only just fitted in the space. I needed longer cables to allow routing to the terminals.
Have one again. Would it fit in a Puma battery space without any modifications needed? Are there any battery compartment depth extenders made for under seats. If strong enough they could also act as seat raisers. A similar RH one could be fitted to both raise the driver's seat & give more space for ECU protection (for example, thinking of shielding from water).
