Puma Instrument Panel Warning Lights..How many?
According to the "Quick Start" manual supplied with our '13 Puma, there are 12 warning lights, which as a "safety check", should light up, when ignition is in position 2. These warning lights are for, seat belt reminder, park brake applied, glow plugs active, traction control operating, differential lock engaged, heated rear screen, DPF (2) full, & approaching capacity(probably wouldn't be applicable because we have no DPF, hazard warning lights, trailer attached, headlight high beam on, rear fog lamps on. NONE of these show (light up).
What Do light up are, Red oil light, red battery light, yellow engine light, handbrake warning light, ABS, T.C., & a yellow "dot"?
Just wondering if any Puma owners could advise what lights light up when your Puma ignition lock is in position 2?
Thanks, Pickles.

Mines a 2.4... I get:

- handbrake
- abs
- oil
- battery
- engine management
- fuel sender (shows glow plugs warming, goes out after few secs- you shouldn't start before it goes out)
- TC

They all go out upon start except ABS which goes out when you reach 5mph.. (Also handbrake obviously if not disengaged)

Hope this helps, mines a 2.4 but probably the same... Cheers, David

Thanks for the response chaps, the manual is completely wrong. I went into my Dealer's today & checked another new Defender, a 110,...exactly the same lights lit up as mine, so I don't know where the manual get's its 12 lights from?
Cheers, Pickles.

That looks about right to me,...I don't know where the manual gets its 12 lights from? Check your manual & see what it says?!
Thanks, Pickles.

Glow plug indicator did not come on as engine was already warm.
