Green mould in rear window channels
I guess as a consequence of the damp weather, Ive got green mould/fungus beginning to grow in the rear sliding window channels.

Any quickneasy way to remove it or stop it getting worse?

It's only green Algae, the same type you'll often seen on greenhouses etc (often glass). Just wipe off occasionally, it won't come back very quickly and only will in wet weather. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

You got to love Defenders. Most folk clean their cars with shampoo and wax, we use bleach and weed killer!

I spray it with Polycell Mould killer spray. It turns brown and then disappears for about six months. I use it on the caravan too because I found that a toothbrush and bleach spray resulted in the mould returning after only a few weeks Thumbs Up

Even better. Interestingly I have had no sign of it in my current Defender.

That's interesting borderterrier, because I didn't have the green algae until my Defender was about 3 yrs old. Maybe it takes a few years to soak up dust/dirt in the felt before the algae takes hold. Whistle LANDYWATCH

Buy some of this.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wet-Forget-Lichen-...and+forget
I use it on everything outdoors - Defender - caravan - paving slabs - garden furinture - etc..
Stays effective for about a year and there's no work involved. Just spray it on and forget......
It's magic. Very Happy

Looks like a god option for the caravan, the roof gets covers in algae being parked up.
