with your 2.4 you can buy the bas remap interface whcih is also available which is all done via email and gives you the choice of returning to standard as and when you wish

Phone Pete at BAS or Gary at Alive they can explain all you need to know in clear, concise terms and you may not need to take your truck anywhere to get it done.
Get the information you need direct from the horses mouth. They can also cater for your needs dependant on what you want your truck to do.  If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

concise terms and you may not need to take your truck anywhere to get it done.
your right you may npot need to take it anywhere unless the ecu has the latest level of software on it as i know pete will not tune cars unless there up todate

hje probly did but i put all the money in the world on it that he checked the softwarewas the latest version on the car before he did it because i know how pete works just like if you took the car to him he will have checked the oil in it as well

Did mine through Pete's service at BAS. Still running a standard intercooler for the 10k miles .. All good. Intercooler change soon though. Great service from Pete. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Alive have a dealer in Wellington, Nr Taunton (West Somerset Land Rovers) who have the Land Rover SDD system in house, so can perform dealer software updates in house, if required, as well as checking your oil level! lol
They have our dealer tuning equipment in house, and so I can remotely remap your car while its in their workshop. On the other hand, our ATRIC remapping system will take a backup of your original map, and hold up to two versions of remap tuning as well as allowing you to read and clear engine management fault codes. We've a generous discount structure for Defender2 members too! Another option, if your Defender isn't in daily use, is send your engine management to us for remapping.
