Mr. Green JST. Feel like a swap? No matter how I drive ---60 miles an hour or 70 can't squeeze more than 26mpg usually 25. now done 6000 miles and no different .
had hoped for 28, maybe the BAS remap will improve it a little when I can justify spending the money
spend few hundred pounds, improve by 2mile to the gall-- maybe? recover outlay in 45 years - makes for a convincing argument !

Was getting 29ish with general day to day use before the remap, a little less afterwards, but had a new transmission and lots of night driving that may have contributed to the drop. Only get 26ish on long motorway/dual carriageway runs, though - that's for a 110 with no rack. Average since new in October 2008 is 28.6 1953 80

Just filled my 90, did exactly 500.1 km with 48.26l, that's 9.65l/100km or 29.27 miles/gallon (UK), or 10.36 km/l

That's doing roughly 60% motorway, 40% city.

Best Yet!
Admittedly I am 'heavy footed' nevertheless last week I was travelling for 3 days anyway between Tidworth in Wiltshire and Bournemouth! Up hill, down dale and a little frantic dual carriageway driving! Filled right up to the gunnels before hand and can normally expect about 45 miles before the needle moves!
Ultimately I was very surprised to work out that during my 3 days of flitting I returned 29.36 mpg! Best yet that was! I have recently started using Millers diesel treatment too, that seems to have abated what I suspected to be an occasional sticking EGR valve as well!
Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

As you can see above after a service at 6,000 miles my mpg dropped and then again after a service at 10,000 it started to go up again- other than the 19mpg (was in a rush for a whole tank). But now, doing day to day driving I am averaging 26-28 mpg with the odd 24 (motorway) and sometimes as high as 29 (cilled out main roads).

I am running with a snorkle, and have 285/75 BFG M/T. So if snorkle knocks off the mpg- as standard mine should be running well over 30mpg combined!.......or the snorkle isn't taking anything off Wink
