Reading iPads in the dark
It doesn't have to be early at this time of year to wake up and find it's still dark.

I've found turning the brightness right down on my iPad still leaves the screen too bright to look at easily and often disturbs madam. Apple don't give you a nighttime setting as far as I know.

BUT I've found that you can easily invert the colours by going to Settings>General>Accessibility>accessibility shortcut and ticking 'invert colours'.

If you then click the Home button quickly three times, while becomes black and vice versa. And three times to reverse.

This might be old hat to some people but I'm really pleased I found it. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop
Now a 2013 110 USW too.

Which iOS you running on your iPad? Just ride this on my iPad mini and it doesn't work. Cancel that, sorted.

My wife asked me if I would like a tablet for Christmas. I told her that the doctor gave me an injection that would last till Easter.
