So what happens when they've done 50% of the race on the prime tyres then the 30% on the option compound? What do they drive the last 20% of the race on? F1 cars would look mighty peculiar swopping a skinny space saver round the four wheels 5% of the race on each corner Whistle

50% for the primes, 30% for the options perhaps they get the hoses out and use the wets for the rest of the race!

I read the link without reading the replies here... No ambiguity to me.... Nothing wrong with the way it was written, or the maths, at all for me.

God knows why they're changing it yet again.... why not just let the teams do what they want, and RACE goddamit!

I suppose Seb had a major lead this season, so they've got to try and stop that and conjour up some other stupid complex plan to give the lesser teams an edge.

Give them all Firestone SAT's I say.... that'll sort the men from the fairies! Rolling with laughter

SATs were THE tyres for off-road trials in the 1990s.... then when they stopped being made we had the 'diamonds'. These days you are hard-pushed to get a decent trialling tyre at a good price... Our blog - http://landytravels.com/
