2.2 service schedule + oil
I saw this useful post giving the service schedule for the 2.4 http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic13195.html

Does anyone know if it's the same for the 2.2?

Also, having looked online I can't find the spec for the oil that will be needed - can anyone let me know what it is and how much I'll need for an oil+filter change.

I realise it'll be in the handbook when the car arrives but I'm ordering oil for my other car soon and if I get both at the same time it'll push me into free delivery territory (and save me having to pay delivery on two smaller orders).

Compared to engines oil and filters are cheap so usually change my oil more often than the schedule requires, especially on a newly built engine.

Great - thanks.

Since posting I've discovered you can get at the handbook via this link: http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/co...roupId=368

It's not terribly useful as beyond saying SAE 5W-30 it doesn't give any particular further spec (but does give access to accessory fitting instructions and the heading of some bulletins).

Turns out it's 7l needed (confusingly not mentioned on the lubricants page).
