Windscreen seal
Can anyone provide a part number or link to a supplier for a replacement windscreen seal? The seal that runs around the window has perished and letting water into the passenger footwell. Best to get it sorted before the rain really sets in.

Thanks

Use a genuine part seal . I'v had 3 smashed screens in the past yr and screen replacement will always replace the seal at the same time . A new seal is no guarantee of dry feet so make sure they put plenty of sealer in all 4 corners .

I had a new screen a few months back.

I brought a gen seal & got the fitter to add lots of sealent also

No leaks since Thumbs Up

Your screen will prob break when its taken out. Mine did, but as it was cracked it did not matter Chris

3 smashed screens in a year? Where the hell do you live? Shocked Any idea of best place to get one from?

I read somewhere that putting the new seal in some warm water before starting the job can help to get it around the screen. Luckily I'm not doing the work myself, a local chap who happens to work for a well known windscreen company has agreed to do the work for a bit of cash. I'd much rather pay someone who knows what they're doing compared to myself who has very little patience when working on cars... 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)
