Puma tools
Guys, I have a general question regarding what you have in your tool boxes.

Over the years I have built up a tool kit of both metric and imperial tools, sockets and spanners etc and on my early 110 needed both sorts. I have had a Disco 1 for the past 6 years and found that i used the imperial tools less and less so my guess is that when my new 90 arrives later this year my imperial tools are redundant,

Would you agree?

regards Dave

Don't bin the imperial, the props are still 9/16s nut and bolt. Also the 7/8s, 15/16, 5/8 always find their way to the top of the spanner tray for me.

Pumas are recycled defenders many parts are still the same as they alsways were.

I find a 1/2 multi point socket the best for the caliper bolts. As with the swivel housing bolts imperial fits best ( oddly cant remember the size of them right now )

Even on a 2015 vehicle the axles still have the full set of thread forms, metric, Unified, and Whitworth, if you know where to look.

I've never checked, but are the axle breathers still British Standard Pipe? That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not a dent, it's a rivet. That's not ... oh! That is a dent!
