Hello,
Does anyone recall the P38 had a function, where it would lock, and leave some lights on for 30 seconds to give you time to get indoors? I would like to achieve something similar on my truck, but not sure how that would work. A gradual dim would be cool too. Any electrical gods here?  |

Some models of disco 3 and RR sport have this option. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Delay timers are all very well... but boring! - Better solution: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171119297339
That + as high amp relay will work, simply wire it to activate the relay and have the relay effectively short the light switch. The same method could be used to make a remote starter for the cold winter months, but only on older vehicles without the key chip immobiliser. It would be perfectly safe too... we all park in natural and trust our handbrakes right?  |

Our Disco 3 and Freelander 2 have it. Pain in the back side sometimes, especially when you go back to the car because you think you've left the light on!
