300TDI Rear exhaust without silencer
Hi All,

I have a 300TDI. Just fitted a Britpart straight through mid-section (Didn't realise it was Britpart when I ordered but hey ho!).

The rear section now is the only thing which I want to get shot of. Is there any bolt on section that just takes it straight out?

Does the TD5 iirc, rear section fit on? I'm sure I've read that somewhere, and it's also silencer-less?

Many Thanks.

Yes, the TD5 rear section fits on a 300TDi, and no, it has a silencer.

Hmm ... That's not the one I was thinking of then ...

There's one that come from the rear joint, follows an 'S' straight out the side in a similar way to standard, but without the canister.

Just had a look on the Fische's, but cant find it? Was definitely a Fische picture I remember though!!?!

Answering my own question here, but worth it I think for anyone else ...

4527 is the later 300TDI set-up which ran the much shorter 4526 mid-section ... So 4527 wont fit the early type. However, if you get the 4526 straight through mid section (TF552 for Terrafirma S/S) and the OEM 4527, then it will bolt-up to the downpipe of even the early type just fine.

That's my plan I think ... I'll just shift on the bit I just bought!

Does this sound correct to everyone?
